⁵and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead and the ruler of the kings of the earth.

To the one who loves us and released us from our sins by his blood ⁶and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father—to him be the glory and the power forever and ever^[a]. Amen.

⁷Behold, he is coming with the clouds,
and every eye will see him,
even every one who pierced him,
and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over him.
